During both summer and winter you can walk through forests, meadows and by the lakeshore and enjoy local guesthouses and restaurants with fine regional specialties.
The total walking time of the gourmet tour is two and a half hours; throughout the walk you have the chance to enjoy meals at four restaurants at the eastern shore of Lake Starnberg that offer pleasant refreshment with regional specialties.
Enjoy local cuisine at four stops:
The walk includes a three course meal and starts at the church in Holzhausen. The culinary joy starts with an appetizer at “Schlossgut Oberambach”. After that there is the chance to satisfy the first hunger with a fish soup or a salad at Landgasthof Huber. The route continues by the lakeshore to Ambach to the lakeside Restaurant Hirth. For the main course you can choose between meat, whitefish from Lake Starnberg and a vegetarian meal. At Buscharner Seewirt, the most southern point of the trip, a dessert will be the perfect finale of the menu. Our path returns to Holzhausen on an elevated trail with an outstanding view.
